Interesting Developments
For the past few months, I have really been wanting a new car. It probably culminated with my friend Mike getting a 2008 Audi TT. I was shopping the Z4, M3, and related - I wanted a nice two door coupe to drive on nice days.
Anyways, I woke up yesterday and thought ‘I need to start living more’. I rolled down to the infiniti dealership after work just to price out the 2006 models since the 2008 models are going to be available in august. Long story short, I ended up getting a 2006 G35 Coupe 6MT for pretty good price.
I learned on a manual transmission and my first car was a stick shift, but I only drove that for 6 months and all of my subsequent cars have been automatics. It has been pretty fun driving around - the lurching is much less frequent now. I still have some trouble punching it into third, but learning pretty quickly.
I still have my Maxima (which I still love) and will be keeping that as my crappy weather car.
